Domain Name Management

When you use the Web or send an e-mail message, you use a domain name to do it. For example, www.globaldial.com (the domain name) or sales@globaldial.com (the email address).

Every time you use a domain name, you use the Internet's domain name system (DNS) to translate the human-readable domain name into the machine-readable IP address. (An example of an IP address looks like this: 198.105.232.4.)

Quite simply, the Internet cannot function without DNS.

At Global Dial, we recommend that you subscribe to a DNS service with your domain name registration.  In simplified terms, we provide the DNS to convert your host or domain names into IP addresses so that your presence is Live on the Internet.

For $55 per year, you will know that your DNS has been taken care of.
